Finally, you can make an ice cream with no added sugar that stays creamy and can even be shaped into balls – even without an ice cream maker!
Completely dispensed with the addition of sugar and maltitol and instead sweeten with erythritol & xylitol, two natural low-carb & keto sugar substitutes. Both sweeteners are low-carb, and erythritol has 0 usable carbohydrates and no calories. However, since erythritol alone affects the freezing point and crystal formation in the ice in such a way that it becomes rock hard, we supplement xylitol, also known as birch sugar. Xylitol also has a very low glycemic index. This makes our ice cream taste sweet and, despite the omission of added sugar, remains really nice and creamy!
